Cobalt Smash took place on Saturday, November, 14. Numerous Outfits from Cobalt decided to create a Live Server Event on Amerish to get fun and create epic battles. You can watch Stream VOD on Commander Cyrious Twitch channel.

Today developers gave lots of information to players about current problems and upcoming content in Planetside 2. Finally, a bug when players were unable to patch/login was fixed - seems CDN provider did something on their side, so most of the players are now able to play their beloved game.

Some players face with validation game files error. It seems it is not a Steam problem, because some people who use a direct launcher from Rogue Planet Games also get this Error. If you have the same Error, join this Reddit thread to give devs more information about this problem.

Official Planetside 2 Twitter informs that for PC players Chapter 1 ends this Sunday, Nov 8 at 11:59pm PST / Nov, 9 at 9:00am CET. Developers are unlocking Esamir all weekend so people can complete their Campaign missions and nab those rewards!

Official Planetside 2 forum informed all players that today, on November, 3 all PC LOGIN servers will undergo platform maintenance at 10:00 AM PST / 7:00 PM CET Live servers will remain up, but many players will not be able to login during the first 30-60 minutes of maintenance (if you're already logged in prior to 10am PST / 7pm CET, you won't be kicked).

The new very useful and user-friendly tool appeared in the Planetside 2 community. We announce Planetside 2 Announcer by BobMitch. This tool works in the browser, which means you do not need to download voicepacks, register on the website, and watch videos to understand how to use it. All you need to do is to open a link with your favorite voicepack, add your character names
